Privacy Policy

Overview
Revolution Editor is developed by Toby Jones. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Revolution Editor on macOS. In short: the app is designed to work completely privately, without requiring you to create an account or hand over personal information to us.
Information we don't collect
Revolution Editor does not require you to sign up, log in, or provide your name, email address, or any other personal details. We don't operate our own analytics or advertising systems, and we don't sell or share your information, because we don't collect it in the first place. Your disc images, keys and projects stay on your Mac.
Third-party tools
Revolution Editor can launch your own installed copy of Dolphin, and use the git command already on your Mac to talk to remotes you configure. Those tools have their own privacy practices, and the app doesn't send them anything beyond what you ask it to. The same goes for the coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity) you can link to a homebrew project: Revolution Editor runs the tool you installed on your Mac, and your requests and project files are handled by that agent's service under its own terms.
Diagnostics
If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device's Privacy settings, Apple may provide us with anonymised crash and performance reports to help us fix bugs. These reports don't identify you personally. You can turn this sharing off at any time in your device Settings.
Changes to this policy
If anything about how Revolution Editor handles data changes, we'll update this page.
