Privacy Policy
Last updated 8 September 2026
Overview
Darts is developed by Toby Jones. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Darts on iPhone. In short: the app is designed to store your match data locally on your device, with no tracking, analytics, or data collection.
Information we don't collect
Darts does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide personal details to use the app. We don't operate analytics systems, advertising networks, or tracking services. We don't sell or share your information - because we don't collect it.
Match data
Your player names, match, competition and timed game records, scores, legs, sets and statistics are stored entirely on your device. This data stays local and is not sent to us or to any external server. You own your data completely.
iCloud sync
If you have iCloud Drive enabled in your iPhone settings, Darts can sync your match data across your devices via Apple's iCloud service. This sync is handled entirely by Apple and governed by their privacy policy, not ours. You can disable iCloud sync for Darts at any time in Settings.
Diagnostics
If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's Privacy settings, Apple may provide us with anonymised crash and performance reports to help us fix bugs. These reports don't identify you personally. You can turn this sharing off at any time in Settings.
Subscriptions
If you choose to subscribe to unlock the full app, that purchase is handled entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We don't receive or store your payment details. See Apple's Standard EULA for the terms that apply to subscriptions.
Children's privacy
Darts does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app requires no account, login or personal data to use, so there is nothing for us to collect or hold.
Third-party services
Darts does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external services involved are Apple's (iCloud for optional sync, App Store for subscriptions, and diagnostic reports if enabled).
Changes to this policy
If how Darts handles data changes - for example, if we introduce optional cloud features or new functionality in a future update - we'll update this page before that change ships.
