Keyboard Shortcuts
On a Mac nearly everything has a keyboard shortcut, shown in the Playback, Score and View menus. On an iPad with a keyboard, hold the Command key to see them. Every shortcut can be changed.
Changing a shortcut
Open Settings ▸ Keyboard Shortcuts. Click a shortcut, then press the keys you want to use instead. Delete takes the shortcut away, and Escape leaves it as it was. A shortcut that is already in use moves to the action you give it to, and the page says so. The arrow next to a shortcut puts it back, and Reset All to Defaults puts them all back.
Single keys (like the space bar) only work when you are not typing in a box.
