How do I get started with my first match?
Download the app from the App Store - your first match is completely free. You can track a basic single match to see how the app works. Once started, simply tap to record each shot - the app handles the scoring automatically.
What's included in the free trial?
The free trial lets you play one basic match with simple scoring. It doesn't include tournament mode, statistics, match history, or PDF exports - those are available with the full app purchase.
What happens after my first free match?
After your first match, you can subscribe to unlock the full app and access unlimited matches, tournaments, statistics, history, and PDF reports.
Can I edit a match after I've finished recording it?
Yes. Open the match from your history, tap "Edit" and you can adjust frames, scores, and individual shot records. All changes are saved automatically.
How do I use tournament mode?
Create a new tournament from the home screen, add your players, and the app will organize matches and track standings automatically. You can record results for each match, and the tournament bracket or round-robin table updates in real time.
Can I export or share match records?
Yes - tap the three-dot menu on any match and select "Export as PDF" to generate a scorecard you can print, email or save. Tournament reports are also available as PDFs.
Where is my match history stored?
All your matches are stored locally on your iPhone. They sync across your devices via iCloud if you have iCloud enabled in Settings, and are completely private - we never see or collect this data.
Is there a way to back up my data?
Your matches are automatically backed up to iCloud if you have iCloud Drive enabled. You can also export individual matches as PDFs for archival. Contact us if you need help retrieving archived data.
Does the app work offline?
Yes - Snooker Scoring works completely offline. Record matches anytime, anywhere, and they'll be saved to your device. When you're connected to the internet, they'll sync to iCloud if enabled.
Something looks broken or crashed
Email us a short description of what happened, your iPhone model, what you were doing when it crashed, and any relevant match details. Screenshots help a lot too.
